Ever since he was a young boy living on the West Coast of Florida, Zee Castro dreamed of living amongst the large Cypress Trees that grew in the rivers of grass in his backyard. Young Zee would canoe the Caloosahatchee River with his father every summer and sometimes camp amongst the beautiful hammocks that these trees provided.
As he got older he realized that the crystal clear waters of the rivers were turning dark and murky and that the beautiful estuaries were slowly missing the wildlife he was accustomed to enjoying.
Time and time again he promised himself he would do something about this.In 2008 he decided to open Eco Blue Aquatic Services and provide the best Lake Maintenance service in the state of Florida. Ever since opening Eco Blue, every day has been filled with great rewards. Imagine being able to walk the great outdoors daily and enjoy the peace and quiet nature has to offer. Some days we find ourselves walking through mud waist deep feeling helpless and immobile and others cruising amongst the tall grasses in the cool rain watching the rain drops create never ending ripples.But it is not all fun and games. There are alligators, large iguanas, dangerous vipers, and now the ever growing invasive pythons in our waters. Now, more than ever, we have invasive species taking over our waters and our job is to eradicate them to create a safe environment.Eco Blue Aquatics has a mission and that is to provide the best quality service while using Integrated Pest Management Techniques to ensure your lakes are maintained the way nature intended them to be. No invasive species, only healthy fish, healthy water, proper drainage and most of all, good care.We intend to keep Zee’s vision of maintaining Florida’s waterways and our natural resources at their purest, cleanest levels while protecting the EARTH at all cost for years to come!
